Decorative wall panel and flooring manufacturer
Client background
This manufacturer produces interior and exterior decoration materials: PS, WPC and SPC wall panels, mouldings, skirting, UV boards and SPC flooring. Its buyers are distributors, contractors and project buyers rather than consumers, so the site has to work for both product research and specification checks.
The country table shows where that demand sits. The United States leads with 1,209 clicks, followed by India at 809 clicks. China (379 clicks), Canada (274), the Philippines (263), Argentina (236), Brazil (235) and the UK (223) round out the main markets, a mix that fits an export business selling into North America, South Asia, South America and Europe.
Starting point and challenges
The Search Console export suggests a site that already had brand demand but weak non-brand visibility. Brand queries dominate clicks at roughly 2,200 brand clicks, while the best non-brand queries are small: wpc wall panel at 40 clicks, uv board at 37, ps wall panel at 31 and ps skirting at 25. In other words, people who already knew the company found it, but new buyers searching by product category mostly did not.
The device split points to a second problem. Desktop averages position 13.3, while mobile averages position 6.2. Mobile visibility is stronger, but desktop is where specification and purchasing research often happens, and that is where the site was weakest. Impressions also declined from about 3.3K per day to about 1.1K per day over the period, so the starting point was not just flat, it was losing ground.
What RAGSEO did
RAGSEO followed its standard method for this manufacturer, with the work tied to the product and application themes already visible in the top pages.
- Keyword and topic research around the categories the site already ranked for, including WPC wall panels, UV boards, PS wall panels and PS skirting.
- A website audit and on-page fixes: title and meta tags, internal links, image ALT text, site architecture and page speed with LCP at or under 2.5 seconds.
- A RAG knowledge base built from the client's own product materials, catalogs and cases, so drafts stayed accurate to the actual product range.
- AI-assisted drafts reviewed by professional editors, covering product pages and application content such as the waterproof benefits of UV boards and MDF acoustic panels.
- Off-page backlink work and monthly Search Console reporting, with strategy adjustments based on what the data showed.
Results in Google Search Console, last 12 months
The 12-month export to 2026-09-08 shows steady visibility across both product and informational queries, with the homepage and product pages carrying most of the clicks.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Clicks | 7.83K |
| Impressions | 615K |
| Average CTR | 1.3% |
| Average position | 10.4 |
| Trend | Impressions declined from about 3.3K per day to about 1.1K per day; clicks slightly down |
The top markets by clicks are the United States at 1,209, India at 809, China at 379, Canada at 274, the Philippines at 263, Argentina at 236 with a 5.3% CTR, Brazil at 235 and the UK at 223. On the page side, the homepage took 3,511 clicks at a 7.5% CTR, the Spanish homepage 128 clicks at an 11.5% CTR, and the wall panel product page 121 clicks at an 11.5% CTR and position 3.7. The UV board article drew 114 clicks at position 4.8, showing that informational content is pulling a large share of the impressions.
What the data says and what comes next
The honest read is mixed. Average position 10.4 means many pages sit just off the first page, where CTR is naturally low, and the 1.3% average CTR confirms it. The device gap is the clearest signal: mobile sits at position 6.2 while desktop sits at 13.3, so desktop queries, often the more commercial ones from contractors and project buyers, are not yet being won. The impression decline from about 3.3K to about 1.1K per day also suggests the site lost visibility on a set of queries during the period rather than gaining it.
The next step is to push mid-page rankings into the top five, especially on desktop, and to shift the balance from informational pages toward commercial product and category pages. In RAGSEO terms that means another on-page pass on the pages closest to page one, tighter internal linking from the high-impression articles to the product pages, and continued off-page work in the markets where CTR is already strong, such as Argentina and the Spanish-language pages.
