764,984 clicks and 7.5x growth for a PCB manufacturer

Client background
This manufacturer runs PCB prototyping and volume production from 1 to 32 layers, plus SMT assembly, with no minimum order. Its buyers are electronics makers and hardware teams that need boards fast, and the site serves them in 170 countries.
The query languages in the pack show where the demand sits: Russian for USB pinout, Spanish for half-wave rectifier and types of diodes, Japanese for USB pin assignment, and English for semiconductor companies in the Philippines and AC capacitor wiring. That mix points to engineers and sourcing staff in Europe, Asia and Latin America who search in their own language before they search in English.
Starting point
In the first quarter of the tracked period the site averaged 2,679 clicks per week and 562.7K impressions per week. The content that existed was thin on the technical questions buyers actually type: pinouts, diode types, rectifier circuits, unit conversions. There was no structured path from an informational query to a product or quote page, and no multilingual layer for the Spanish, Russian and Japanese searches that the pack now shows on page one.
What RAGSEO did
The engagement followed the standard RAGSEO method, with the content themes set by the query data above.
- Keyword and topic research mapped the technical question space: pinouts, diode and rectifier types, unit conversions and component definitions, in English and in the languages buyers use.
- A website audit and on-page fixes covered titles, meta tags, internal links, image ALT text and site architecture, so technical pages could rank and pass equity to product pages.
- A RAG knowledge base was built from the client's own PCB and SMT materials, then used for AI-assisted drafts that professional editors reviewed before the client approved publication.
- Off-page work added backlinks and sponsored content with industry media to support the new technical pages.
- Monthly Search Console reporting tracked queries, pages and positions, and the next content batch was adjusted from that data.
Results in Google Search Console
Over the 70 weeks ending 2026-08-17, the site recorded 764,984 clicks and 97,407,133 impressions in web search.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total clicks, 70 weeks | 764,984 |
| Total impressions, 70 weeks | 97,407,133 |
| Weekly clicks, first quarter vs last quarter | 2,679 vs 10,040 (x3.7) |
| Weekly impressions, first quarter vs last quarter | 562.7K vs 1.33M (x2.4) |
| Growth multiple vs starting period | 7.5x |
First-page wins are concentrated in technical queries: USB pin assignment in Japanese at average position 2.7, half-wave rectifier in Spanish at 3.5, USB pinout in Russian at 4.1, types of diodes in Spanish at 4.9, AC capacitor wiring at 5.1 and semiconductor companies in the Philippines at 5.2. These are informational pages, which is why impressions run far ahead of clicks.
Third-party view: Semrush and AI search
Semrush (US database, organic) shows the keyword footprint expanding from 884 organic keywords in Jul 2024 to 13,057 in Aug 2025 and 14,277 in Aug 2026. Estimated monthly organic traffic moved from 413 to 17,254 to 6,189 over the same checkpoints, so the last reading sits below the 2025 peak. The current profile is 154 keywords in the top 3, 729 in positions 4 to 10 and 1,687 in positions 11 to 20.
Google AI features produced 1,792,540 AI search impressions in the last 3 months. The most-cited pages were Mobile Manufacturing Companies in India in Hindi (29,528 citations), Watts to Amps Conversion in Indonesian (17,798) and How to Use a Multimeter in Spanish (13,023), which confirms that the conversion and how-to content is doing the heavy lifting in AI answers.
What the data says and what comes next
The headline is real: 764,984 clicks over 70 weeks and weekly clicks up 3.7x from the first quarter to the last. The weak spots are equally clear. The peak week of 21,856 clicks at week 32 of 70 was not held, and the last 4 weeks average 8,557 clicks per week, below the last-quarter average. Semrush estimated traffic also fell from 17,254 to 6,189 while the keyword count kept rising, which points to many pages sitting in positions 4 to 20 rather than top 3. Informational pages drive the impressions, so CTR stays low.
The next step is consolidation, not more volume. RAGSEO would use Search Console data to find the pages that rank in positions 4 to 20, strengthen them with internal links from the top technical pages, refresh the conversion content that AI engines already cite, and add commercial-intent pages that move readers from pinout and diode queries to PCB and SMT quote requests. Monthly reporting keeps the plan tied to what the data shows.
