Honest reading and next step

Two things need a plain reading. First, the GEO honesty boundary: ChatGPT answers either from live web search, which GEO can influence, or from knowledge stored in the model without web access, which cannot currently be optimized. Published content may also enter future models' training data over time. Second, the traffic is still weighted toward informational defect queries, and many rankings sit in the 4 to 20 range rather than the top 3.

The next step is to convert that visibility into commercial demand: build pages for the interface and resolution terms where buyers are closer to a design decision, strengthen internal links from the high-citation guides to product pages, and keep tracking citations and Search Console data monthly so the mix shifts from troubleshooting readers toward qualified inquiries.
