Client background

This manufacturer designs and makes industrial TFT LCD displays, touch displays and related LCD products. Buyers are engineers, procurement teams and product managers who compare brightness, resolution, interface, temperature range and touch options before they ever send a message. The website has to work as a technical catalog and as a first sales conversation: clear product families, readable specifications and an easy path to an inquiry. The same client's SEO program is handled as a separate case, so this study covers the website build only.

Brief and design direction

The homepage leads with the company name as the main heading and a product-first navigation: all LCD products, hot LCD picks, automotive and industrial applications, standard and stretched LCD, LCD with touch, LCD with board, custom products and tools. That order matches how an industrial buyer shops. They arrive with a size, a resolution or an application in mind, and they want to reach a matching product page in one or two clicks.

The design direction stays plain and functional. Product links carry full technical descriptions in the URL, such as an IPS touch screen display at 1280x800 LVDS, an outdoor LCD display at 1280x800 with capacitive touch screen, and a portrait bar type at 720x1920 with 1000 nits MIPI IPS panel. The tone is for a sourcing engineer: sizes, brightness, interfaces and mounting context first, marketing language last.

What RAGSEO built

RAGSEO built this as a marketing-driven WordPress site, following the standard website method.

  • Homepage mockup first, reviewed and approved before the full build started.
  • Responsive build to W3C standards and SEO best practices, tested across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Product catalog entries uploaded for testing, with the product families and sample product pages visible in the pack.
  • SEO settings on the site, plus SSL installation and domain setup.
  • Backend training and secure credential handover after launch, with open-source independent code the client fully owns and can manage without us after the partnership ends.
  • Standard launch window of 35 working days, with a target LCP at or under 2.5 seconds.

The pack shows no hreflang languages, so the build is a single-language site. A multilingual add-on is available if the client later wants to target other markets.

Structure and conversion paths

The visible structure is built around product discovery, and each block has a job.

  • Top navigation splits the catalog by product type and by application, so an automotive or industrial buyer can self-select fast.
  • Hot LCD picks and standard, stretched, touch and board categories shorten the path from the homepage to a spec page.
  • Tools and custom products sections serve buyers who need a modified panel rather than an off-the-shelf part.
  • Sample product pages carry full technical names in the URL, which helps both buyers and search engines match a query to the right page.

The pack shows no contact form on the homepage, so the inquiry path depends on product pages and other contact routes. Adding a visible inquiry entry point on the homepage is a practical next step.

Search footprint and next step

Semrush data is not available in the pack, so we cannot quote an organic keyword count for this site. What the pack does show is a clean, product-first structure with 21 images, 93,185 HTML bytes and no JSON-LD schema on the homepage. Schema markup is the clearest technical gap: product and organization markup would help search engines and AI answer engines read the catalog correctly.

The next step is usually the SEO content program, run as a separate engagement, to build topical coverage around display sizes, brightness levels, interfaces and applications, and to connect that content to the product pages already in place.
