A product-first website for a solar and battery storage provider

Client background
The client is a solar and battery storage solutions provider. Its catalog covers lithium batteries in low voltage and high voltage formats, hybrid and off grid inverters, solar panels and accessories. The site has to convince three very different buyers at once: an industrial and commercial facilities manager comparing system integrators, a utility-scale developer running technical due diligence, and a homeowner who needs a simple path to a quote. Each group arrives with different questions, different budgets and different tolerance for technical detail, so the site cannot speak to only one of them.
Brief and design direction
The homepage leads with a single broad promise, "Solar + BESS Solutions", then splits immediately into three buyer segments: Industrial & Commercial, Utility-Scale and Home Solution. That structure is solution-first rather than product-first. A visitor self-selects by project type before seeing a catalog, which matches how industrial buyers actually shop: they define the application, then look for hardware that fits it.
The tone stays plain and technical. The page repeats the segment block twice, once near the top and once lower down, so a visitor who scrolls past the first explanation still gets a second entry point into the right path. Product families sit in a separate Products Library, keeping the homepage focused on fit and the catalog focused on specification.
What RAGSEO built
RAGSEO built this as a marketing-driven WordPress site under the standard website development method.
- Homepage mockup first, reviewed and approved before the full build started.
- Full responsive site built to W3C standards and SEO best practices, tested across desktop and mobile devices.
- Product catalog entries uploaded and tested, covering the lithium battery, inverter, solar panel and accessory families.
- Multilingual setup for the 11 hreflang languages present on the live site: ar, cs-CZ, de-DE, en-US, es-ES, fr-FR, mk-MK, my-MM, pt-PT, sv-SE and uk.
- Contact and inquiry paths wired into the segment and product pages, with SSL installation and domain setup.
- Backend training and secure credential handover after launch, with open-source independent code the client fully owns.
The standard RAGSEO launch window for this kind of build is 35 working days.
Structure and conversion paths
The page is organized around segment entry points and a separate product library, so a buyer can move from project type to hardware without losing context.
- Hero and segment blocks: "Solar + BESS Solutions" plus Industrial & Commercial, Utility-Scale and Home Solution, letting each visitor pick a path before seeing products.
- Products Library: Lithium Battery, Inverter, Solar Panel and Accessory, giving spec-driven buyers a direct route to datasheets and models.
- Battery and inverter sub-navigation: Low Voltage, High Voltage, Hybrid Inverter and Off Grid, matching how system designers shortlist components.
- Contact form: present on the site, turning a segment or product visit into a named inquiry rather than a bounce.
Search footprint and next step
Semrush shows 278 organic keywords and an estimated 10 monthly organic visits for the US database. The site is built and indexed, but it is not yet pulling meaningful search demand. That gap is normal for a new custom build: structure and multilingual coverage are in place, while content depth is the missing layer.
The next step is the SEO content program, starting with keyword and topic research against the three buyer segments, then RAG knowledge base content built from the client's own product and project materials. Search Console reporting will show which segment pages gain traction first.
